Hi, I’m Lara — the face behind BakesByLara 💖
What started as me posting cakes on Instagram somehow turned into me and my boyfriend David travelling around Leeds doing pop-ups, late night baking sessions and carrying cupcake bouquets everywhere 😂
I’m completely self taught, so everything has been learnt through trial, error, practice and a LOT of buttercream. What began as a little hobby quickly became something I genuinely fell in love with.
I’ve always loved creating pretty, girly bakes that feel extra special — especially cupcake bouquets that look almost too cute to eat. Every order is made with so much care and I honestly still get excited every time someone chooses me to be part of their birthdays, celebrations and special moments.
We’re now growing even more and expanding across Leeds, and I’m so grateful for everyone supporting my little business along the way 💕
